On a short stop at Røst the last two days of May, we were treated with a real mega: a beautiful adult male Baikal Teal. This might very well be the same bird that has toured Norway this winter and spring.

Another surprise was a singing male Rosefinch in our garden.

A single male redstart, a flock of 8 Black-tailed Godwits and a White-fronted Goose of the western subspecies also made it a great stop over at Røst!
