The two last weeks of August we spent on a round trip in Southern Norway.
Red-backed Shrike (tornskate) seemed to have had a good year, and several young birds were seen in Vestfold.

A group of Bar-headed Geese (stripegås) had joined the Greylag Geese (grågås) in Orrevann, Jæren.
